Yet another rainy day and no idea what to do with Miss Muffet, so searching though Pinterest I go.
Something easy, fun and not too messy, I'm still trying to get my house ready to sell so yet another mess is really not what I need. Vola I found a couple of great projects. Stamping, painting, playdoh; the standards but all different from what I've found before. The other thing I look for is cost, if I can use what's already in my house then I'm all for it.

What You Need:
- Squeeze bottle (anything to hold the paints and has a squirt top on it for easy handling, dollar store carries some great ones)
- Flour
- Salt
- Water
- Mixing bowls
- Spoon / Whisk
- Funnel
- Coloring (food, tempura paint, natural coloring like blueberries, raspberries, etc, or other cake decorating paints, anything you have on hand)
- Thick paper (fingerpainting paper works best), or Posterboard
- Plastic sheet for the table
How To Make:
- Mix equal parts flour, water and salt. You can change the amount of water to change the consistancy but remember thinner means messier and too thick the kids will get frustrated with it because it won't come out.
- Mix well so there are no lumps
- Add coloring, start with a VERY small amount and mix
until the color is even. Add more until you get the color the shade you want.
** Do this slowly, remember you can always add more color but you can't take it out **
- Use the funnel to put your new paint in the
bottle
- Repeat this for as many colors as you want and remember you don't have to make only the colors you have in the box, mix them to make more.
- Use on the sidewalk too instead of chalk. ** The colors might stain so white or light colors would be best **
Gift Idea:
Great as a gift for someone, just put the dry ingredients in the bottles, use dry tempura paints for the coloring, make a beautiful lable for each bottle, add a pad of paper and a tag that says "Just Add Water"
